Simply Elegant

The basic principles of achieving a beautiful, elegant look that is timeless are quite simple. There is of course, a more sophisticated elegance whose taste you will eventually develop, but for starters, we will stick to simple clean lines and focus on quality.

Quality :

Quality is essential to elegance. Aim for quality over quantity. Good quality is not an extravagance, it lasts for a long time and may end up to be cheaper because you get more uses of each item. It pays to have the very best that you afford.

Of course, many women dream of having a different thing to wear for everyday of the year. So we naturally think that the bigger the wardrobe the better. I started to buy only clothes I absolutely am sure about (and loved), and stopped buying clothes and things that I’m half-satisfied with.

My personal story with my wardrobe :

I’ve discovered this ‘Less is More’ theory on my own, My ideal wardrobe is to have 10 really good pieces that I can wear over and over, mix and match, dress it up or down. but I’ve found a small collection of clothes works well!

Note: You needn’t go out and spend a tonne of money. An elegant woman is more materially-restrained than we realize.

Your Personal  Grooming :

The first steps to achieving a elegant style is to be immaculate in personal grooming.  I remember feeling that way when I started to adjust for higher standards of grooming. It is impossible for someone who to be elegant without being immaculately groomed.

There is always something very cohesive, rounded, soft, subtle, ethereal look about a woman who is elegant. It looks effortless and perfectly gentle.

Grooming basics:

Keep it simple, pay attention what works for you
and be disciplined about it! As for make up, I find that unless you are a make up artist, try to have minimum make up. Clutter is not good for your well being. Keep your look fresh and updated. Go for a more natural look in the day, and heavier at night.

Basic Elegant Style Principles :

Elegant woman is always clean, Neat & Graceful in appearance. Wearing quality clothes. She also  dresses appropriately, according to occasion. who prefer timeless, classic styles.

Get ready for Holi Festival 2017

Holi is a colorful and most fun-filled festival which is celebrated in the month of March, usually in the latter half of the month. Also known as the Spring Festival, Holi marks the end of the cooler winter months and the beginning of spring, a celebrated season as it brings warmer days, new produce, love and joy.

The most popular one is related to the killing of Holika. The story centers around an arrogant king who wanted everyone in his kingdom to worship him. But his son Prahlad refused and worshipped Lord Vishnu instead. He attempts to kill his son but fails each time. Finally, the king’s sister Holika who is said to be immune to burning, sits with the boy in a huge fire. However, the prince Prahlada emerges unscathed, while his aunt burns to death. Holi commemorates this event from mythology, and huge bonfires are burnt on the eve of Holi as its symbolic representation.
Great excitement can be seen in people on the next day when it is actually the time for the play of colours. Shops and offices remain closed for the day and people get all the time to get crazy and whacky.

It is a two-day festival. The first day is the bonfire night which is known as ‘Holika Dahan’ which is known as ‘Choti Holi’ and the second day is when the main celebration with colours takes place.

Very next day of Holi is for social bonding and on this day, people visit each other’s house where they greet each other.
Some people make natural Holi colours rather than buying them from the market. These colours are 100% herbal and nature-friendly where the blue  colour is obtained from indigo, yellow from sunflower and turmeric and orange from marigold flowers.

It is a festival, with dancing, singing, and throwing of powder paint and colored water.

Holi is known for water fights. Coloured water is filled with water balloons and water guns and sprayed on people along with dry powdered colour.
There is a popular saying in Holi i.e. ‘Bura na mano Holi hai’ which means “don’t mind, its Holi.”

Indian Holi is very similar to Spanish festival “La Tomatina” with the only difference of colours replacing the ripe tomatoes.

Lets Make a Bonfire of our Negativity & Bring a Color of Positivity into Our Life.
Wishing You'll Health, Wealth, Happiness on this Holi...

HAPPY HOLI !

Sister's Day

When you see a group of siblings together, they are easy to spot. They share a bond like none other.
Brothers and Sisters Day was created to celebrate that bond. Our parents and grandparents are honored every year... why not honor the other loved ones in our immediate families?  The idea is to keep it simple and sincere.

My sisters and I we grow together, we share life. all of that will be shared with my sisters, every life up and down will be with the two of them.

My sisters are my greatest gift in life.  They are the two people that hold me up the most,
they are my best friends, my shining stars, my favorite moments.

My sisters know almost every single detail of my life.  They are the two people in the world who understand me the best.
They know my likes and dislikes, they can predict me almost to a tee, every heart struggle of mine they know, and every accomplishment I achieve they are the first ones to cheer me on.

When I have big news to share and want to explode in joy, my sisters are the ones to know about it first.  They are the ones who will listen to endless yipping about some silly boy, the ones who will always keep me on my toes with pointless bantering, and the two women who will hold my hand through anything.

This tradition is meant to be from the heart, not the pocket. Reflect on good relationships, heal wounded ones, and strengthen bonds.
On this day, make it a point to connect or reconnect, acknowledging all you share with your siblings, or that someone special in your life who is like a brother or sister.

"A Sister is more than a forever friend, she is joy to the heart and love without end. Love my sis"

so, celebrate one of the most special relationships a human can know. "Because life is too short."

Friendship Day Special

When you’re little, there’s serious pressure to pick someone as your best friend. Once you do, you swap friendship bracelets, spend all your time together, and declare to the world that this is your other half…until, you know, you reach dating age.

Of course, it’s natural to be closer to certain friends or one friend at a particular time in your life,
but Anderson says that’s because each of our relationships have unique dynamics that fulfill different needs in our lives.
Meaning, you may be closer to your buddy who is a good listener when you’re going through a breakup as opposed to your friend who loves to party all the time—that’s just life.

My best friends are the reason I am able to get through finals week, the holidays, and any heartbreak.
I’m lucky to have about few girls I can call at 2PM or 2AM with any complaint, request, or ridiculous fear and know that I will get off the phone feeling better than I did when I called.

Whether she’s your neighbor you’ve known since age six, your might-as-well-be high-school sweetheart, or your newfound BFF from freshman year in the dorms,
Missing your best friend can make you feel hollow from inside.

If you’re reeling under the misery of being away from your friends, post your ramblings on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. Let your bestie know how much you are missing him or her. send Sweet quotes, cute greetings, funny handmade notes or maybe even a handwritten letter – rant and offload your emotions.

Let your friends know how lonely you’re feeling ever since they’ve gone away. you should definitely thank your best friend for all of these things.
Because In life, friendship is everything.

so, Celebrate this Friendship Day with your best friends.
